    I’m not like the other girlsI’m specialI say yes all the time, even when my heart says noThen I plaster on a smileSo no one knowsAnd when it starts to hurt too muchI don’t tell you to stopI don’t let those tears dropI fake it– dying insideAnd when I’m aloneI bite down on my tongue a little too hardMaybe taste some bloodCry a little too, and pray for some reliefBut it never comes.
