    Infantalization: It IS that deep

    The first physical class I attended post-strike was quite interesting. The lecturer spent the majority of our time selling himself as a website developer, and trying to encourage us as students to learn how to code as well. He said he used the time away from school to learn programming, which was funny because most of the students present that day had been coding for years already. While he seemed genuine in wanting us to grow our skillset, his advice was delivered in such a condescending manner that it was lost on his audience.
